people underestimate how much power there is in remembering a name.

No, you are not all that.

It’s one of the easiest ways to show respect, but it’s also one of the first things people forget when the job title gets to their head.

I’ve seen it happen, titles get bigger, rooms get fancier, and suddenly, basic decency goes out the window.

But the best leaders I’ve met never let that happen. They don’t just lead with authority, they lead with connection. 🀝

And connection starts with something as simple as making people feel seen.

From the person who cleans your office, your kids’ teachers, the security guard at your building, the waiter at the place that knows your order, to the person at the bus stop who greets you every morning…

everyone.
deserves.
to.
be.
acknowledged.

A name isn’t just a name. It’s recognition. It’s respect. And sometimes, it’s the difference between someone feeling invisible and feeling valued. 🦸🏻‍♀️

PSA: Your name/ title does NOT make you more important, more human, or better than anyone else. The way you treat people does.
